Made from 100% Weber blue agave from the lowlands of Jalisco, Mexico, Volcan de mi Tierra Cristalino is a blend of añejo (aged) and extra-añejo tequilas – surprisingly bright and clear despite its robust, rich flavours.
ON THE EYES: Bright and clear, with strawlike undertones.
ON THE NOSE: Tobacco, dried fruit, chocolate and vanilla aromas combine on the nose.
ON THE PALATE: Smooth and silky, yet with a powerful personality, Cristalino’s flavours of caramel, tobacco and dark chocolate are complemented by a slight herbaceous note – signalling the influence of the slow-roasted lowlands agave.
