Product Highlights:

• Cucumber Vegetable Seeds: Mr Fothergill’s Cucumber Marketmore 76 is an outdoor ridge cucumber variety that produces tasty, straight green slicing cucumbers for fresh salads and summer dishes.
• When and How to Sow: Sow indoors from February to April, 0.5cm deep on edge in small pots of compost, or sow outdoors from May to June where they are to crop.
• Germination and Plant Care: Keep indoor sowings moist in a warm position at 21-24°C. Seedlings usually appear in 7 to 14 days, then transplant to 12cm pots once they have 3 or 4 leaves.
• Planting and Spacing Guide: Gradually acclimatise young plants before planting outdoors from May to June, avoiding frosts. Space plants 60cm apart in fertile, well-drained soil, with 60cm between rows.
• Harvest, Uses and Benefits: Harvest from July to October. Ideal for pots, grow bags and outdoor growing, this slicing cucumber has good resistance to powdery and downy mildew for reliable crops.
