Product Highlights:

• Pea Vegetable Seeds: Mr Fothergill’s Pea Hurst Green Shaft is a traditional pea variety producing vigorous, reliable green plants with sweet-flavoured peas, ideal for home gardens, allotments and container growing.
• When and How to Sow: Sow outdoors from March to June where they are to crop, in well-cultivated, fertile soil. Create flat drills 15cm wide and 5cm deep before sowing.
• Spacing and Sowing Guide: Sow seeds in a zig-zag pattern along each drill, allowing 5cm between seeds. Cover with fine soil, firm gently and leave 60cm between rows for healthy plant development.
• Germination and Plant Care: Keep soil moist after sowing. Seedlings usually appear in 10 to 18 days. Water regularly as plants establish and provide support if needed as plants grow up to 75cm tall.
